National Account Manager – Grocery & Wholesale

About the role
This position is a high‑impact role that blends strategic account management with new‑business development for a fast‑growing, purpose‑led beverage brand. You will own key grocery and wholesale customers, driving growth and sustainability across the UK market.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of national and regional accounts including Tesco, Ocado and Booker.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders.
- Lead joint business planning, annual negotiations and commercial term setting.
- Drive distribution, visibility and rate of sale across assigned accounts.
- Identify and secure new opportunities in grocery, wholesale and high‑street channels.
- Own account P&L, budgets, forecasting and demand planning.
- Translate category insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure excellent in‑store and online execution.
- Represent the business at trade shows, events and customer meetings.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a National Account Executive, National Account Manager or similar FMCG commercial role.
- Track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business.
- Strong understanding of UK grocery retailers.
- Commercially savvy with experience managing P&Ls.
- Confident negotiator and relationship builder.
- Analytical, organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Motivated to join a high‑growth business with a sustainability mission.
Required skills

- Salary £50‑60k plus 10% bonus.
- Car allowance.
- 25 days holiday, increasing with service.
- Hybrid working: 1‑2 days per week in a central London co‑working space and 1 day per month in Hertfordshire.
