Newly Qualified Management Accountant – London

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Management Accountant to join our busy finance team in London. This full‑time position offers a supportive environment where you will develop budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business‑partnering skills while contributing to finance projects and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
• Produce financial analysis to identify trends and provide business insights.
• Execute month‑end activities including journals, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with year‑end reporting and external audit requirements.
• Contribute to finance projects and identify opportunities for process efficiencies.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Newly qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or equivalent) – or strong part‑qualified accountant with Big 4 experience.
• Previous experience preparing management accounts.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships across the business.
