Non-Medical Prescriber – Barnet Service

About the role

Change Grow Live is seeking an experienced Non‑Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join its Barnet service. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering person‑centred care to individuals with complex physical, mental health and substance‑use needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment and care for service users.
• Prescribe and review medication in line with evidence‑based practice, national and local protocols, and within your scope of practice.
• Prioritise health problems, intervene in urgent or emergency situations and seek clinical lead advice when required.
• Assess, update and refer service users for BBV vaccination and immunisation programmes.
• Promote health‑promotion strategies and support healthy lifestyle adoption.
• Communicate effectively with service users, carers and external stakeholders, adapting methods to cultural and communication needs.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.
• Participate in self‑ and peer‑review, benchmarking and formal evaluation of care delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration and at least two years post‑qualification experience, OR
• First‑level registered nurse with a current PIN and at least three years post‑qualification experience.
• Current Non‑Medical Prescriber qualification.
• Minimum one year recent experience in a relevant clinical setting.
