Nursery Nurse – Early Years Educator

About the role
Kindred Nurseries is looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse to join its St Albans site. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment, helping children learn, play and develop in a safe, homely setting. The role offers a permanent contract with a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children, supporting their learning through play.
- Maintain accurate records, observations and reports for each child.
- Work closely with the Room Leader to uphold the highest standards of Early Years care and education.
- Communicate with parents and carers via the Satchel app, face‑to‑face meetings and written reports.
- Ensure the setting complies with safeguarding policies and regulatory guidelines.
Required profile
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential).
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (for qualified role).
- Positive, can‑do attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Desirable: previous Early Years experience, current Paediatric First Aid, safeguarding training, food hygiene certificate.
