Nursery Nurse – Full-time in Rayleigh

About the role

Kindred Nurseries is looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse to join its friendly team in Rayleigh, Essex. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment, helping children learn, play and develop while contributing to the high standards of Early Years care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating and educational environment for children to learn, play and develop.
• Maintain accurate records, observations and reports for each child, including key children’s interests and achievements.
• Support the Room Leader in delivering high‑quality Early Years care and education, modelling best practice and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with parents and carers through the Satchel app, face‑to‑face meetings and written reports.
• Ensure the setting remains clean, organised and homely, implementing inspiring activities that promote learning through play.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential).
• Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (for qualified roles).
• Positive, can‑do attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Desirable: previous experience in an Early Years setting, current paediatric first aid, safeguarding training and food hygiene certificate.
