Nursery Teacher – Full‑time Fixed‑term (12 months)

About the role

Reeson Education is recruiting a confident Nursery Teacher for an outstanding, inclusive children’s centre in Islington. This full‑time, fixed‑term position runs until July 2026 and offers the chance to lead a small group of children within a supportive, vibrant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Welcom assessments, reviews and STP reviews in partnership with the SENCO.
• Plan, observe and assess the progress of approximately eight key children.
• Maintain a classroom of no more than 26 children, using Tapestry and EY Works for record‑keeping and planning.
• Collaborate with two qualified Scale 5 Early Years Practitioners and additional part‑time staff.

Required profile

• EYTS or QTS qualification with a minimum of three years’ EYFS teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment tools.
• Confident classroom leadership and excellent communication skills.
• A proactive, nurturing approach suited to early years education.
