Online MBA Tutor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced online tutors to support Aston Online MBA cohorts. As a subject‑matter expert you will guide students through their learning journey, delivering high‑quality academic content and fostering engagement in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver academic content developed by partner academics and the learning design team.
• Facilitate live learning activities that engage and support student learning.
• Undertake assessment tasks, including moderation, marking, and feedback, and submit results within set timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum PhD/DBA in a related subject.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 5 years of teaching and assessing experience, including postgraduate teaching.
• Ability to teach topics such as Strategy, Economics, Strategic Marketing, Financial Decision‑Making, Leadership, Operational Excellence, and Digital Transformation.
• Demonstrated impact on student learning and a strong motivation for student success.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a positive online presence.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working remotely.

Required skills

• Experience using Virtual Learning Environments as learning tools.
