Online Tutor – 1‑on‑1 ESL Lessons

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is looking for experienced educators to deliver 1‑on‑1 online English lessons to ESL students in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work remotely, set your own schedule, and teach 50‑minute sessions each week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction using the Cosmo curriculum.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app promptly.
• Prepare lesson materials appropriate to the student’s age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years teaching K‑12 ELA.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Commitment to at least 6 months with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Availability 8‑2 PM GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT (weekends).
• Quiet, private teaching space.
• Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
