Operations Delivery Lead – Pension (Hybrid, Bath/Edinburgh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Delivery Lead to head our Pensions operations team, overseeing the delivery of Seccl’s SIPP and ISA products. The role will build operational structures, processes and controls to support a fast‑growing tax‑wrapper business while ensuring excellent customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end performance of the SIPP and ISA operations team, meeting SLAs and customer outcomes.
• Lead, coach and develop a specialist team of operations analysts, fostering a culture of ownership.
• Design workforce planning, capacity forecasting and resource models to support volume growth.
• Drive operational readiness for new client onboarding and product launches.
• Act as escalation point for incidents, coordinating response, root‑cause analysis and lasting fixes.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve workflows, automate processes and embed robust controls.

Required profile

• Proven operational leadership experience in platforms, wealth management or fintech.
• Track record of delivering improvements by collaborating with Product, Engineering and Risk.
• Experience designing scalable operational processes and operating models for tax‑wrapper products.
• Deep knowledge of SIPP administration, pension and ISA regulatory requirements (Consumer Duty, CASS, etc.).
• Data‑driven mindset using operational metrics to inform decisions.
