Operations Manager – Telecoms & IT (Northern Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Operations Manager to lead regional operations across Northern Ireland for a fast‑growing communications company. The role oversees delivery teams, ensures project performance and acts as the key link between field engineers and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operational delivery for the region, supervising Project Managers and Field Engineers.
• Own service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor live projects through the CRM system.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for urgent issues, driving rapid resolution.
• Plan resources, oversee vehicle fleet and stock management, and ensure optimal utilisation.
• Track and report on KPIs, customer outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior operations or service delivery experience, preferably in telecoms or technical services.
• Strong people‑management skills with ability to conduct performance conversations.
• Comfortable analysing KPIs and identifying process improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for project tracking.
• Proficiency in using Project Management tools.
• Knowledge of SLA management.
