Paraplanner – Chartered IFA Firm in City of London

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong Paraplanner to join a Chartered independent wealth planning firm in the City of London. The successful candidate will support a pod of three advisers managing high‑net‑worth clients with assets ranging from £500k to over £5m.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical reports covering pensions, investments, inheritance tax, trusts, cash‑flow modelling and estate planning.
• Assist advisers in developing tailored financial strategies for HNW and UHNW clients.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and whole‑of‑market advice requirements.
• Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure high‑quality client service and timely delivery of recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of solid paraplanning experience within a whole‑of‑market advice firm.
• Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in financial planning.
• Ability to work three days per week on‑site in the City of London.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing pension and investment reports.
• Knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts and estate planning concepts.
• Cash‑flow modelling expertise.
