Paraplanner – Hybrid – £48k‑£60k (AI Focus)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a forward‑thinking financial planning firm in Manchester. The role combines traditional paraplanning duties with a strategic focus on developing and refining AI‑driven tools that support high‑net‑worth client advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality suitability reports for complex financial planning cases.
• Conduct detailed technical research across pensions, investments, protection, retirement, tax and estate planning.
• Support Financial Planners throughout the advice process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review, test and improve AI‑generated paraplanning outputs.
• Provide technical feedback to the leadership team to enhance AI tools and internal processes.
• Identify and propose process improvements that increase efficiency and commercial value.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Paraplanner within a UK financial planning firm.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartered qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of a broad range of financial advice areas.
• Excellent report‑writing and analytical skills.
• Enthusiasm for integrating technology into financial advice.
