Part‑Qualified Finance Business Partner (Hybrid, Brighton)

About the role

As a Part Qualified/Studying Finance Business Partner you will support the financial health of a media and agency client based in Brighton. You will work closely with multiple teams, providing insight and analysis that drives strategic decision‑making and helps the business meet its objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial plans with accuracy.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure financial alignment with business goals.
• Monitor financial performance and report variances to stakeholders.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support the accounting and finance department with ad‑hoc projects and tasks.

Required profile

• A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities.
