PE Teacher (Temp-to-Perm) – Minehead

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Minehead on a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm basis. The role involves delivering Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 and a small allocation of Design Technology lessons using pre‑planned resources.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach a small number of DT lessons using pre‑planned schemes of work and resources.
• Foster positive relationships with students and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive school team.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Willingness to teach some DT lessons with provided planning and resources.
