Pension Bid Writer – Hybrid/Remote

About the role

We are seeking a talented writer to craft compelling, client‑focused proposals for the pensions administration sector. Working within a growing Bid Management team, you will help secure new business by translating technical information into persuasive, customer‑centric content.

Key responsibilities

• Lead storyboard and content planning sessions with bid teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subject‑matter experts across the business.
• Support Bid Managers in defining proposal structures that meet client requirements.
• Review, refresh, and tailor existing content to create compelling bid responses.
• Write, edit, and finalise proposal submissions to agreed timescales, escalating risks where necessary.
• Integrate contributions from sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, commercial, and operational teams into cohesive responses.

Required profile

• Experience across the end‑to‑end bid or proposal lifecycle.
• Proven ability to produce clear, persuasive, customer‑focused written content.
• Experience supporting complex or high‑value bid submissions.
• Exceptional written communication with the ability to adapt style for different audiences.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder‑management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities.
