People and Culture Advisor – Gallery & Museum Sector

About the role

We are partnering with a client in the Gallery and Museum sector based in Central London to hire a People and Culture Advisor on a permanent basis. The role starts in July and offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home two to three days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line HR advice and support to managers and employees on policies, procedures and people‑related matters.
• Manage and respond to queries received through the HR inbox, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Support low‑level employee relations cases, including attendance, conduct and performance issues.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new starters, delivering a positive experience and ensuring compliance.
• Maintain accurate HR records and systems while upholding employment legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Recent experience in an HR support or advisory role covering generalist activities.
• Experience working within a small team and building strong relationships with managers.
• Ideally holds a CIPD qualification (not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Employee Relations knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
