Physiotherapist – Community Rehab (Part‑time)

About the role

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join the East Dunbartonshire Community Rehab Team. Working primarily from Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre, you will provide physiotherapy services in care homes and patients' homes across East Dunbartonshire, supporting independence, mobility and functional ability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy assessment and treatment in community and care‑home settings.
• Manage an autonomous caseload, planning and delivering core rehabilitation interventions.
• Lead and contribute to CAPA (Care About Physical Activity) projects within local care homes.
• Provide falls education, training and assessments.
• Collaborate with the wider Care Home Liaison Team, patients, families and external agencies.
• Participate in local audit, clinical effectiveness projects and service evaluation.

Required profile

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the HCPC.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Desirable: post‑graduate experience and prior community physiotherapy experience.
