PIM Data Steward – Remote Contract (Inside IR35)

About the role

The PIM Data Steward will join a global e‑commerce organisation to ensure high‑quality product information across multiple brands and retail channels. Working remotely, you will support the EMEA function, handling data uploads, syndication and template mapping throughout the product onboarding lifecycle. The role is inside IR35 and initially runs for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete product data in the PIM system and ensure alignment with business standards.
• Upload new product data, validate outputs and manage data syndication to various retail channels.
• Map and onboard new retail templates across brands, applying and updating data mapping rules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve data queries and discrepancies.
• Track and report data readiness against launch deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms, preferably Inriver or Salsify.
• Strong background in retail template mapping, data uploads and transformations.
• Solid understanding of data governance, quality and management principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

Required skills

• Inriver (or Salsify) PIM system expertise.
• Template mapping and customisation in non‑out‑of‑the‑box environments.
• Data syndication and mapping to channel‑specific output formats.
• Advanced Excel – Power Query, macros, complex formulas, dashboards, advanced lookups.
