About the role
Our partner BAE Systems is seeking an experienced welder to join their team in Barrow on a 12‑month contract, working on the latest generation of submarines (Astute or Dreadnought projects). The role is based in Barrow‑in‑Furness, North West England, and offers competitive rates for both locals and commuters.
Required profile
- Apprenticeship qualification
- TIG pipe welding experience
- Mirror welding experience valued but not essential
What we offer
- Competitive pay rates for PAYE contractors
- Competitive pay rates for Umbrella contractors, adjusted for shift allocation and travel distance
- Additional rates for travel distance over 39 miles
