Plasterer – Mobile Role in Portsmouth

About the role

We are looking for an experienced plasterer to join our social‑housing repairs and maintenance team covering the Eastleigh area. The role offers a mobile, full‑time contract with the autonomy of working independently in occupied homes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching and full wall or ceiling finishes.
• Perform damp and mould remedial works where required.
• Maintain high‑quality standards while working in occupied properties.
• Manage your own stock and materials using the provided company van and fuel card.
• Update job status in real‑time using a PDA or mobile device.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent time‑served experience.
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness training.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Own tools are preferred.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
