Plumber – South London (Permanent)

About the role

A Lings Group Limited is expanding its plumbing team across South London. This permanent position offers the chance to work on a variety of domestic and commercial projects, supporting emergency contracts, insurance partners, social housing, and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Replace taps and tap cartridges in baths, basins, kitchens and external fixtures.
• Repair leaks on copper, plastic, and waste pipework.
• Install and service radiators and toilets.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hot and cold‑water systems, including unvented hot‑water units.
• Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations for kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems.
• Perform power‑flushing of heating circuits.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (maximum three penalty points).
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent diploma in plumbing.
• Minimum two years’ experience working independently on plumbing projects.
• Ability to work flexibly during busy periods and collaborate effectively within a team.
• DBS certificate and two professional references.

Required skills

• Tap replacement and cartridge fitting.
• Leak detection and repair on copper and plastic pipework.
• Radiator installation and repair.
• Toilet installation and repair.
• Hot and cold‑water system maintenance.
• Knowledge of unvented hot‑water systems.
• 1st‑fix and 2nd‑fix installation for kitchens, bathrooms and heating.
• Power flushing of heating circuits.
