Policy Advisor – Government & Regulatory Compliance (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Policy Advisor to provide expert guidance on government and regulatory matters. This remote contractor position offers flexible hours (10–40 hrs/week) and the opportunity to work across legal, healthcare, academic, and finance sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and review policy documents, legal contracts, proposals, and research papers using advanced Word and PDF capabilities.
• Deliver strategic consultation and actionable recommendations on regulatory and compliance issues.
• Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance, clarity, and alignment with industry best practices.
• Support clients with precise document formatting, tracked changes, form filling, and data extraction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex data into clear policies and procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving regulations and guidelines relevant to your area of expertise.

Required profile

• Minimum professional experience in government policy operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PDF tools, including tracked changes, formatting, and data extraction.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to draft, analyze, and review complex policy or regulatory documents.
• Strong project‑management skills with the capacity to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced remote environment.
