Primary Class Teacher – Full‑time (Temporary)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Class Teacher for a thriving primary school in Norwood, SW16. The successful candidate will join a supportive senior leadership team and deliver high‑quality teaching to pupils during the 2026‑2027 academic year on a full‑time, term‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate progress.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a safe learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
Required skills
- Lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
- Assessment and marking.
- Effective classroom management.
- Strong communication with parents and colleagues.
