Primary PPA Teacher – Selly Oak

About the role
We are seeking a Primary PPA Teacher to deliver lessons during planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time at a primary school in Selly Oak, Birmingham. This ongoing role starts on 1 June 2026 and offers the chance to work across different year groups while supporting pupils’ learning. You will work closely with the school’s leadership team to ensure that curriculum objectives are met during the PPA window.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons during PPA periods.
- Support pupils’ learning and maintain positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with class teachers and school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Uphold high standards of classroom practice and assessment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in primary education and classroom management.
- Adaptable, enthusiastic and reliable.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
