Principal Examiner and Content Author for T Levels Science

About the role
The Principal Examiner and Content Author will lead the quality assurance of the T Levels Science (Core Paper Chemistry) qualification. You will ensure that assessment standards are upheld and that examiners are consistently calibrated to the unit specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor standards for externally assessed units, modules and components.
- Oversee the standardisation process for examiners and provide guidance on assessment criteria.
- Deliver contracted units on time and adhere to Pearson’s deadlines and quality expectations.
- Report any concerns related to malpractice, maladministration or safeguarding.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in science education, assessment or curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of qualification frameworks and assessment standards.
- Ability to work independently while representing Pearson professionally.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Pearson’s assessment software and secure IT environment.
- Reliable personal IT equipment, up‑to‑date virus protection and a stable internet connection.
