Principal/Senior Acoustic Consultant – South East England

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Principal/Senior Acoustic Consultant to join a leading multi‑disciplinary consultancy in London. The role involves delivering high‑quality acoustic and noise assessments for commercial projects across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects, budgets and junior staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct noise assessments using modelling software such as CadnaA and CATT.
• Liaise with clients, architects and engineers throughout the design process.
• Prepare environmental statements and contribute to acoustic design solutions.
• Analyse monitoring data and produce technical reports.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in acoustics (Institute of Acoustics qualification preferred).
• Extensive commercial experience in noise monitoring and assessment.
• Strong knowledge of UK noise and vibration legislation, mitigation measures and EIA processes.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
