Private Banker – East of England

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Private Banker to serve high‑net‑worth clients across the East of England, including Norwich, Ipswich and Cambridge. You will deliver bespoke banking and investment solutions, acting as the primary point of contact for wealth‑structuring, credit advice and a full suite of banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new private banking relationships through referrals, internal networks and corporate banking sources.
• Maintain and grow existing client portfolios, meeting targets for new clients, assets and revenue.
• Provide comprehensive investment advice across all asset classes and coordinate with Wealth Advisory, Discretionary Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory and Global Solutions teams.
• Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal Barclays divisions, ensuring seamless delivery of financial solutions.
• Utilise digital platforms and banking tools to enhance client service and drive continuous improvement.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical reasoning and sound judgement to solve complex client problems.
• Self‑starter who can work independently or as part of a banker cell.
