Procurement Specialist – Aerospace & Defence Supply Chain

About the role

Boeing is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Rotary Wing Enterprise Supply Chain team supporting the UK Chinook and Apache programmes. The role ensures seamless procurement of goods and services while monitoring supplier performance against programme requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Hold Delegation of Authority to commit commercial agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead development of the Supply Chain Architecture with input from engineering, programme management, safety and quality.
• Collaborate with Price and Estimating to create a priced Bill of Materials and define sourcing strategies for the aircraft BOM.
• Develop negotiation strategies, place contracts, and manage sourcing for campaign and capability assessments.
• Manage technical, quality, and delivery aspects of key supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Support bid package creation, supplier selection, and proposal evaluation in line with Boeing’s Integrated Business Acquisition Process.
• Prepare, negotiate and execute contractual documentation, including proprietary information agreements and terms and conditions.
• Represent Supply Chain Management in programme meetings, track risks, issues and opportunities, and foster collaborative relationships with the RWE team.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of aerospace and defence procurement lifecycles.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex supply‑chain activities and support material demands.
• Strong understanding of commercial documentation, supplier statements of work, and contract negotiation.
• Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
