Production Controller

About the role

Evolito is seeking a Production Controller to join its fast‑growing team. The role sits within the planning function and works closely with Programme, Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams to ensure schedules are met efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Check material availability regularly and raise work orders, ensuring work packages are ready for production.
• Track open work‑in‑progress (WIP) and address blockers with wider teams to minimise delays.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering and Supply Chain on BOM and SAP item master setup and maintenance.
• Ensure MRP provides appropriate demand signals for procurement items and analyse root causes of issues.
• Support planners, industrial engineers and production teams with SAP data collection and analysis (cycle time, scrap, S&OP, etc.).
• Maintain optimal stock levels for shelf‑life items and bulk materials.
• Assist other planners and the Planning Lead with daily planning activities and KPI measurement.
• Help set up work‑to‑lists, pick/shipping lists and automate processes where possible.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar production control or planning role.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with an analytical mindset.
• Self‑starter attitude, able to thrive in a small‑business environment.
• Capacity to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands against tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible approach to work.

• Microsoft Excel (advanced)
• SAP (experience preferred)
