Join HM Prison Ranby as a Production Instructor and play a pivotal role in rehabilitation through vocational excellence. In this non-operational instructional position, you will lead a specialized workshop, empowering individuals with essential technical skills to improve their employability and reduce recidivism upon release.

Missions principales

• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to inmates within a specialized workshop environment.
• Facilitate the acquisition of nationally recognized qualifications in collaboration with external educational bodies.
• Manage workshop operations, including induction of inmates, scheduling, and attendance tracking.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including COSHH and safe machinery operation.
• Oversee workshop maintenance, tool verification, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct competency assessments and manage administrative tasks such as payroll validation and security reporting.
• Contribute to rehabilitation efforts by providing input for parole reports and sentence planning.
