Production Team Leader / Line Leader – Food Manufacturing

About the role

This hands‑on position leads a small production team in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment that produces authentic Mexican tortillas, salsas and related products. You will ensure daily output meets quality, safety and efficiency standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily production across tortilla, bakery and sauce preparation lines.
• Lead or assist a small production team on shift.
• Prepare, weigh and handle ingredients accurately.
• Operate production equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow recipes, production plans and quality standards.
• Carry out product checks and record production data.
• Label, pack and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
• Identify and report equipment faults or production issues.
• Ensure health, safety and food‑safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Line Leader, Team Leader, Production Supervisor or similar role in food manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food production or manufacturing.
• Ability to follow SOPs and production guidelines.
• Physically capable of manual tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent contract.
• Salary £27,000 – £30,000 per year, DOE, plus 10 % bonus.
