Production & Warehouse Operator (Temp & Permanent)

About the role

Join Gates at our Dumfries facility as a Production & Warehouse Operator. You can be hired on a temporary or permanent basis, working full‑time across various shift patterns to support manufacturing and warehousing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment and processes following Standard Working Practices and Manufacturing Operating Procedures.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas throughout and at the end of each shift.
• Accurately update hourly production records.
• Report hazardous practices, equipment issues, or near‑miss incidents promptly.
• Contribute to meeting daily quality and productivity targets as part of a team.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or shift work is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong manual dexterity and numeracy skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and maintaining a clean workspace.
