Programme Benefits Lead Manager (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Benefits Lead to join a major national transformation programme. Based in London with a hybrid working model, the role sits within the PMO and is responsible for leading benefits management activities throughout the programme lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead benefits identification, baselining and realisation activities.
• Track, analyse and report programme benefits to senior leadership.
• Collaborate closely with programme leadership, project managers and business change teams.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across multiple organisations.
• Support delivery in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in benefits management.
• Experience on large, complex programmes, preferably in the public sector.
• APMG Managing Benefits qualification preferred.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• SC Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within England and Wales.

• £600 per day (umbrella rate).
• Hybrid working – typically two days onsite.
• Temporary contract, 5 days per week, 7.2 hours per day.
