Project Engineer / Manager – Manufacturing & Engineering

About the role

This position is for a Project Engineer/Manager with a strong background in manufacturing and engineering. Based in Staverton, Gloucestershire, you will lead the relocation of physical engineering products between sites, often on an international scale, within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver work transfer, new product introduction, and site integration projects.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Define project scope, plans, milestones, and success criteria.
• Track dependencies, risks, issues, and actions across projects.
• Monitor progress against plans and escalate any timeline or scope risks.
• Prepare and maintain clear, accurate project documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in project coordination, project management or operations within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to regulated industries, ideally aerospace or defence.
• Good knowledge of moving engineering equipment between sites.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
