Project Manager – Fit-out Packages for Manchester Town Hall Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of fit‑out packages on the iconic Grade 1 listed Manchester Town Hall refurbishment. The role ensures timely completion while preserving the building’s historic integrity and aligning with Bovis health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project strategies, plans, and schedules for each work package.
• Coordinate design, site, commercial, client, and supply‑chain teams to optimise delivery and mitigate design risk.
• Provide technical, commercial, and operational support, overseeing production, quality, and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety requirements and relevant construction legislation.
• Monitor and manage package risks, driving opportunities to maximise client and business value.

Required profile

• Chartered status with a relevant institute such as CIOB.
• Professional construction qualifications relevant to senior project management.
• Proven experience delivering complex construction projects, preferably heritage or listed‑building projects.
