Project Manager – HR Systems Transformation

About the role

Bird & Bird is seeking a Project Manager to join its Strategy & Transformation team. The role will initially focus on the next phase of the PeopleConnect (SAP SuccessFactors) implementation, expanding the HR system with Recruiting and Performance & Goals modules and embedding the functionality delivered in phase one.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own a detailed project plan for the upcoming SuccessFactors modules.
• Lead change‑management strategies and interventions to ensure full adoption.
• Coordinate resources, tasks, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain project artefacts such as status updates, risk registers, change requests and RAID logs.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to the leadership team as needed.
• Partner with third‑party vendors and the internal SAP partner to meet milestones.
• Provide regular progress reports on budget, schedule, risks and issues to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technology implementation projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 HR system projects, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
• Strong full‑life‑cycle project‑management capabilities, able to plan, organise and prioritise multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Required skills

• SAP SuccessFactors (PeopleConnect) implementation knowledge.
