QA/Test Engineer
AND Digital · Londres
Job description
About the role
Provide temporary QA/Test Engineering support for Release 1 and the subsequent hyper‑care period, establishing a structured QA approach across functional, integration, regression, release verification and defect management. The role aims to boost release confidence, reduce reliance on developer‑led testing and enable a safe move to production.
Key responsibilities
- Define and assess the current QA approach, identify gaps in functional, integration and regression testing, and determine what needs to be tested before Release 1.
- Create reusable test assets, write test cases and scripts, build regression packs and smoke‑test checklists, and map coverage to requirements in Azure DevOps.
- Support functional and end‑to‑end testing of key Nebula workflows, assist UAT preparation and execution, and work with pilot users to smoke‑test critical flows.
- Maintain regression packs, reusable test scenarios and release validation checklists, improving traceability between requirements, defects and test coverage.
- Validate end‑to‑end behaviour of integrations such as Dynamics workflows, Transcriber, Whitespace API and Xuber/RMS bindings, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate defect triage, support defect reproduction and prioritisation, and collaborate with product, engineering and delivery teams to track resolution and sign‑off.
Required profile
- Proven experience in QA or test engineering within complex technology delivery environments.
- Hands‑on experience supporting release readiness, smoke testing and production validation.
- Strong functional, integration and regression testing capabilities, with the ability to validate data integrity across interconnected systems.
- Experience managing defects, supporting triage and coordinating UAT activities.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for test coverage and traceability.
- Excellent collaboration skills with product, engineering and business stakeholders.
Required skills
- Azure DevOps (test planning, execution and traceability)
