About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Geography teachers to deliver engaging lessons across secondary schools in the Midlands. You will inspire pupils about the physical, human and environmental aspects of geography while supporting their progress through Key Stages 3, 4 and, where available, Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3‑4 (and occasional Key Stage 5) in secondary schools.
- Plan and prepare curriculum‑aligned resources covering physical, human and environmental geography.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and support individual learning needs.
- Maintain classroom discipline and uphold safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England and Wales.
- Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and right to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Geography subject expertise (physical, human, environmental).
