Reception/KS1 Teacher – Primary School (South Dorset)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Reception/KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in South Dorset. You will deliver dynamic, interactive lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning in young children.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver an engaging curriculum across a range of subjects for Reception and KS1 pupils.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports every learner.
- Encourage students’ curiosity and foster a lifelong passion for education.
- Manage classroom routines and maintain accurate records of pupil progress.
- Collaborate with senior staff and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum three years’ experience working with children or young people in the UK.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references covering the last two years.

- Day rate between £145 and £300.
- Full‑time, long‑term supply contract (potentially permanent).
