Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality care for individuals living independently at home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations in line with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and best‑practice standards.
• Submit statutory notifications, maintain regulatory compliance, and prepare for inspections.
• Monitor service quality through audits, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Handle complaints, incidents, and investigations, implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and review personalised care plans and risk assessments.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff; manage rotas and performance.
• Support training, professional development, and budget management.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or similar senior care role.
• Strong knowledge of domiciliary care, safeguarding, and person‑centred support.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
• Sound understanding of CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards, and compliance.
• Familiarity with confidentiality, duty of candour, data protection, risk management, infection prevention, and health & safety.
• Full UK driving licence with business insurance and Enhanced DBS clearance.
