Religious Education Teacher (QTS) – Secondary Schools

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Religious Education teachers to work across secondary schools in the Midlands. You will deliver engaging RE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional Key Stage 5 opportunities, helping pupils explore beliefs, values and cultures.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver RE curriculum for KS3 and KS4, adapting content for diverse learners.
- Facilitate classroom discussions that promote critical thinking and respect for different faiths.
- Maintain effective classroom management and assess pupil progress.
- Collaborate with school staff to align RE teaching with overall school objectives.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and local school communities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England or Wales.
- Experience teaching Religious Education in UK secondary schools.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and right to work in the UK.
