Remote ESL Teacher

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers to deliver 1‑on‑1 online lessons to K‑12 students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. The position is fully remote, allowing you to set a flexible schedule while providing personalized instruction to each learner.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 50‑minute one‑on‑one ESL lessons according to the Cosmo curriculum.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials tailored to each student’s ability.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app and attend classes punctually.
• Submit class feedback after each session and communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with ESL learners and familiarity with K‑12 standards.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a quiet private workspace.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week, between 8‑14 GMT on weekdays or 5‑14 GMT on weekends.
• Commitment to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
