Remote UK Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

Agay Barho is seeking a diligent professional to coordinate daily road freight operations across the United Kingdom. Working remotely, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods by planning routes, assigning loads, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and freight operations throughout the UK.
• Plan optimal routes and assign freight loads based on schedules, delivery deadlines, and capacity.
• Manage all freight bookings using Haulage Exchange or comparable platforms.
• Maintain open communication with UK‑based drivers and clients, handling dispatch queries.
• Monitor deliveries, anticipate delays, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Update transport records in Transportation Management Systems for accurate reporting.
• Utilise Excel, Outlook, and Google Workspace to organise schedules and documentation.
• Work independently, demonstrating strong time‑management and initiative.

Required profile

• Proven experience in UK logistics or as a UK Truck Dispatcher.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Thorough knowledge of UK transport regulations and industry practices.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
