About the role

Join Tesco as a Shift Leader at the Lisnagelvin Superstore in Londonderry. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, helping to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store and excellent customer service. The role offers a starting rate of £15.59 per hour with a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (or 12 hours if you prefer part‑time).

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the store team to provide a smooth, fuss‑free shopping experience.
• Open and close the store, ensuring safety and compliance with all procedures.
• Act as the go‑to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager, handling day‑to‑day queries.
• Maintain store cleanliness, tidiness and presentation standards.
• Support managers with seasonal and community initiatives.
• Coach and give feedback to colleagues to continuously improve service.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability within the advertised weekly windows (07:00‑22:00 daily).
• Ability to work both opening and closing shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
