Retail Supply Chain Consultant

About the role

Join a leading transformation company as a Retail Supply Chain Consultant, supporting top retail brands in the UK and worldwide. You will work on end‑to‑end supply chain improvement programmes, helping clients balance customer experience, cost‑to‑serve, working capital and operational feasibility.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose current‑state supply chain performance and isolate root causes across demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, replenishment, e‑commerce fulfilment and logistics.
• Develop clear, data‑driven recommendations and execution plans that clients can act on.
• Build benefit cases, quantifying value, trade‑offs and feasibility to guide investment decisions.
• Own defined workstreams from diagnostics through to implementation planning, phasing and dependency management.
• Define KPIs and operating rhythms that embed sustained performance improvement.
• Support digital enablement by shaping use cases for retail planning and supply chain tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail supply chain consulting or similar roles.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across merchandising, operations and logistics teams.
• Experience delivering measurable improvements in supply chain performance.
