About the role

As a Room Attendant at The Medlock, you will create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests staying at this brand‑new 401‑key hotel in Manchester’s Etihad Campus. Your focus will be on delivering immaculate rooms that feel fresh, calm, and ready for guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and deep cleaning of guest rooms to the highest standard, ensuring beds are perfectly made and all finishing touches are in place.
• Prepare rooms for arriving guests and refresh occupied rooms during stays, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, using cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly.
• Collaborate closely with housekeeping team members and other hotel departments, stepping in to support where needed.
• Adapt to flexible shift patterns, working 365 days a year as required by hotel operations.

Required profile

• Warm, welcoming and genuine attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• Confident under pressure with a steady presence and memorable personal touch.
• Effective communicator who is grounded and connected to the local community.
• Experience in a fast‑paced hotel environment, preferably within a premium or high‑energy setting.

Required skills

• Proficient use of cleaning equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
