RTR Accountant – Intercompany Finance (Hybrid)

About the role

The role sits within the Intercompany team of a high‑profile organisation, delivering accurate and timely record‑to‑report (RTR) accounting activities. You will ensure intercompany balances reconcile across the group and support the integrity of financial reporting in a collaborative, hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate intercompany accounting activities in line with month‑end and reporting deadlines.
• Process intercompany journals with supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Complete monthly reconciliations of intercompany balances, ensuring the accounts net to zero across the group.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between entities and business units.
• Act as a key contact across finance teams to support accurate intercompany processing and settlement.
• Work closely with finance operations and treasury teams to improve processes and controls.
• Support VAT‑related intercompany reconciliation and quarterly reviews.
• Participate in systems testing, upgrades and ERP enhancements.
• Maintain and document key intercompany processes.
• Support audit activity by providing documentation and responding to queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong intercompany accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Comfortable operating in a changing, evolving environment.
• Collaborative team player with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
