Science Teacher – Birmingham & Solihull (Sept 2026)

About the role
We are looking for qualified Science Teachers to support secondary schools in Birmingham and Solihull for the September 2026 intake. The role can be taken as daily supply, short‑term cover, long‑term placement or a permanent position, depending on your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with KS5 opportunities for specialists).
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑led lessons.
- Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and achievement.
- Assess pupil progress where required.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Recent experience teaching secondary Science.
- Specialists in Physics, Chemistry or Biology are strongly encouraged.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management.
- Professional, adaptable and reliable approach.
Required skills

- Daily rate of £170‑£220.
