About the role
We are seeking a dedicated secondary teacher to deliver French and Spanish lessons at a vibrant school in Tower Hamlets. The position starts in September for an initial half‑term and may be extended to a full term or longer.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons for a range of age groups.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and offer additional support where needed.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for language learning.
- Collaborate with fellow language staff to enhance cross‑curricular activities.
- Participate in school events and cultural exchange activities related to language learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Spanish and/or French.
- Proven experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level.
- Fluent command of both French and Spanish.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate students.
- Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
