Self-Employed Financial Adviser – London

About the role

We are partnering with a respected financial planning firm to recruit a Self‑Employed Financial Adviser who will take ownership of an existing client bank in London and the South East. The role offers immediate recurring income, a strong bonus potential and the freedom to grow your own practice within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take over and manage an established portfolio of approximately 80 active clients.
• Provide holistic financial planning advice covering pensions, investments and protection.
• Conduct annual reviews, maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities to increase client assets.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking and targeted outreach.
• Work closely with paraplanning and administration teams to deliver compliant advice.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Financial Adviser in an IFA or wealth‑management setting.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Self‑motivated, commercial mindset and commitment to high‑quality client service.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to deliver holistic advice across pensions, investments and protection.
